This recipe is from one of our wonderful friends and former podcast guest, Laura Orbe a.k.a Healing Thru Nutrition. Laura is a nutrition coach and vegan chef that helps people transform their cooking and eating habits for the better!
We had an amazing conversation with Laura bout the brain and gut connection and what foods are best to eat to support them on our podcast. You can listen to that episode here!
Bring some color into your food world. Let’s face it, beige is boring!
Eating fruits and vegetables of different colors boosts your immune system and your brain health. When you take care of your brain health, you're taking care of your gut health which impacts your entire body.
The different colors represent different phytonutrients to help keep all of our systems healthy and working properly.
Red soaks up damaging free radicals.
Orange promotes healthy joints.
Greens boost our immune system.
Purples fight inflammation.
